Dave Regulski
Operations Manager
Dave Regulski began his career with Choptank Transport over 9 years ago as a Logistics Coordinator. Through hard work and dedication he moved up through the ranks to his current position: Operations Manager. In addition to managing the 24-person dispatch team, Dave is responsible for maintaining the level of professionalism and dependability that Choptank Transport customers have come to expect. He thoroughly enjoys knowing that "each day I come to work I do something a little different." During his time here he has been thrilled to watch the company expand and take on new challenges. Dave sees Choptank Transport expanding its number of customers, services offered, and its serviced regions, in the next five years. As a result of this growth, he also expects Choptank Transport to continue adding Logistics Coordinators to keep up. "One of the joys of working here is watching the company grow and succeed. We're blessed to have a dedicated group of people and the ability to keep expanding. We're constantly adding new members and teams to offer the best possible level of service. It's an exciting time for Choptank and a great team to be a part of!"
Kenny Sewell
Fleet Operations Manager
Kenny Sewell came to Choptank Transport 11 years ago, with over 25 years of experience in the industry. In his 11 years with Choptank Transport, Kenny has held several positions, including Logistics Coordinator and his current position as Fleet Operations Manager. Kenny is responsible for the efficient usage of Choptank Transport's fleet of trucks. Using his extensive knowledge of our business, he makes sure our trucks are being used in a way that is beneficial for the customer and for the company. Kenny says that his two keys to success are "using common sense to solve problems, and always considering the needs of the customer." He finds few things more rewarding than taking on a challenge and overcoming it. Kenny has also been very proud to be a part of the rapid growth Choptank Transport has been experiencing. In the coming 5 years he expects our expansion will continue, both in the number of trucks, and the regions they service.
Jenny Toomey
Manager of Accounting
Jenny Toomey, the Manager of Accounting, has been with Choptank Transport for over 5 years. Prior to working with Choptank, she held an accounting position with a local carrier. Her duties include monitoring the accounting department as a whole, in addition to arranging payment of drivers, and brokers. Her favorite part of this position is maintaining relationships with the carriers as well as customers. "I believe being a team player is the best attribute you can bring to our team. I couldn't ask for a better group of employees," Jenny said when asked of her role at Choptank. She has been excited to be working at a time of such rapid growth, and to learn from this experience. She feels Choptank Transports' rapid growth will continue as the company continues to become "bigger and better." Jenny added that her "department is only as strong as each team player. If one aspect is lacking, the department as an entirety is lacking. It's because our group understands this that we're able to function so well as whole. Members contribute their devotion to ensure we offer the best possible service in the most efficient manner. That's where Choptank stands out… through dedication."
