Carrier Setup
To be set up as a Carrier for Choptank Transport, please email our carrier department.
Carrier Tips
Helpful tips to ensure a quick and easy setup up process:
- Keep insurance current. Choptank Transport carefully checks carrier's insurance information before a load is assigned, failure to provide proof of insurance will result in loss of the load.
- Post as much information as possible. Using the Post Your Equipment page, post a description of your equipment. Make sure this description includes the type of trailer, location of trailer, and preferred destination.
- Communicate is the key success! Our dispatch is constantly in contact with the customer, and because of this we need all relevant information and data. If anything changes while on the road, before, or during loading, please call your dispatcher immediately and inform them.
- Check for posted loads both on our site (link,) as well as on other sites offering this service such as Truckstop.com. If you are interested in that load, please call immediately.

If you are already a carrier, you can sign up for CarrierNet by contacting either Carrier Compliance or Accounting to receive your free username and password. There is no charge for this service.
