At Choptank Transport, corporate responsibility extends beyond our obligations. We take pride in our home, our community, and in our world and believe in giving back to the community that allows us to offer that service. In May of 2005, we equipped all of our equipment with a Tri-Pac microprocessor unit that eliminates unnecessary idling, reducing emissions into the environment. In February of 2008, we launched our corporate recycling program, requiring the collections of all white and colored paper from our corporate location. Soon after, our community outreach program took root, dedicated to helping those in need.
Our Community program represents not just our management, but also our company as a whole. We bring ideas, and ideals, that are important to our employees to the front, so that our involvement in the community reflects the concerns and beliefs of everyone at Choptank. This allows our employees to bring more to the planning process of our activities. Many employees are already active in different community outreach programs outside of work, making coordination between Choptank and other charitable organizations simple.
At Choptank Transport community service has always been a common occurrence, both because of the morals and beliefs of our management, and the dedication and conviction of our employees. The Community Outreach Program is simply a better way of organizing these activities as our company grows and our calendar becomes more full. We invite you to learn more about this excellent organization by visiting our community events calendar and PR library.
