Customersales team

Our Sales and Marketing team are both experienced and knowledgeable in transportation and customer service. Choptank has worked hard to build a team that attributes their success to the satisfaction of their customers. Each representative works directly with customers, building relationships that become mutually beneficial. They coordinate with logistics and drivers, visit customers, and go above and beyond to ensure superior customer service. You'll receive a personalized team, which starts with your sales rep, and expands to include your logistics team and accounting team. Steve Ford
Senior Sales Director

Steve Ford is vital to Choptank for his experience and background in transportation. His career actually began with our parent company, AW SISK, in 1978, where he worked as a warehouseman. Once established as a warehouse manager, his career in supply chain management began. In 1988, Ford became a traffic manager, the exact position he now calls on day to day. Working for Choptank, he credits his experience as the key to "understanding my customers". Because he has walked in their shoes, he is fully aware of their needs and challenges. His favorite part of his job is "the interaction. I enjoy putting my customers first and working to help them achieve their goals." Ford is credited with earning 50% of his business from referrals alone. He was recognized as the Employee Spotlight in the second quarter of 2008, was named Salesperson of the Year for 2008, and earned the President's Award for 2008. Charlene Keller
Senior National Accounts Director

Charlene Keller began her career as an Eastern Regional Sales Manager for a Fortune 500 company. Keller enjoys sales because "it's rewarding to help." She states the two most important factors in her day-to-day business are "honesty and integrity. I treat every customer with the same importance." Her favorite part "are the challenges. I'm not trying to fix what's working, I want to do everything I can to make things run smoother for you. I consider myself a problem solver." Charlene's superior customer service skills have won her considerable recognition at Choptank. The award winner of the Shining Star Award in 2007, she was then recognized as the Employee Spotlight for the third quarter of 2008.
