Our drivers are paid on a percentage of the gross of the load. Company drivers start at 25% of the gross of the load. Owner operators without their own authority are paid 88% of the adjusted gross of the load with their own trailer and 78% of the adjusted gross of the load without their own trailer.

How long do our drivers spend out on the road at one time?
Our drivers are out as long as they would like to be at one time. We try to have all our drivers out on Monday morning and home by Friday afternoon. Although there are exceptions, this is our goal.

Do we use an electronic log system?
No, we only use paper logs. However, they are audited electronically on a computer and manually audited.

How much Deadheading and Layover is involved?

While we would like to live in a perfect world, we all know it is not. We cannot promise that there will be no deadheading or layovers, however, we do try to keep it to a bare minimum. We shoot for less then 150 miles of deadhead and strive for no layovers. If there is a layover we try to receive detention time 100% payable to the driver.
