While Choptank Transport helps move America’s freight across the country, its philanthropic arm (CTCF and CIC) helps people in their everyday lives. From feeding food-insecure children, to coaching Junior Achievement classes, to packing boxes for military units overseas, Choptank’s steadfast commitment to others in our communities reflects our overall core values to commit, adapt, grow and succeed.

Our Mission:
The Choptank Transport Community Foundation (CTCF) and the Choptank Transport Community Involvement Committee (CIC) are dedicated to helping others by making our communities stronger and people’s lives richer. Through fundraising, volunteering, coaching, and donating, our company pledges to help those less fortunate overcome hardship, enhance fiscal education and responsibility, improve individuals’ health, increase environmental awareness, and create change that will provide lasting solutions for years to come.

Do you have a cause you would like CHOPTANK to consider supporting?
We strongly believe in our corporate responsibility to give back to our community. As such, we stay civically active by helping causes that benefit our local schools, regional food banks, and fundraisers that are connected to our employees and their families. We do this through either monetary contributions, manpower (volunteering) or both. We also support major charities, such as the American Heart Association, Salvation Army and Special Olympics, to name a few.
Our primary focus for corporate giving includes but is not limited to the following categories:
- Education
- Hunger
- Veterans
- Local Causes
